Overseas Mission in Fiji.

Overseas Missions

Throughout the 170 years of our parish's history we have always supported missions overseas and have seen that as one of our primary responsibilities.

We have faithfully prayed for missionaries serving overseas and have welcomed them when they have returned on furlough. Our financial giving has enabled hospitals, schools, churches, orphanages and Bible colleges to be built around the Pacific, in Tanzania and elsewhere, helping hundreds to discover the love of God, transforming their lives. We have helped to support many projects in many countries, enabling God to work His purpose in people's lives.

Last year, Norma Benton and Erena Roberts joined a team of Anglicans as part of an annual pilgrimage to Fiji by 'Senior' members of our church to show support and encouragement to our brothers and sisters in Fiji, as well as receiving from them new zeal and inspiration for our mission in this country.

Norma will be going back to Fiji later this year.

In 2015, a Mission team went to Tanzania with solar-powered audio Bible players for those unable to read. The size of an iPhone and translated into the language of the area, the players are only $35 each. The more players that are donated the more people will be blessed. Please prayerfully consider supporting this outreach.
