Home and Study Groups

Holy Trinity has several home and study groups, which all are welcome to attend. These include:

Morning Study Group

Held on the first and third Tuesday of the month at 9:45 am at various members' homes, this is a friendly group which meets to study the Bible, with morning tea to start. Contact Gill Rawson (753 3012) for more information.

Evening Study Group

Our evening study group is run by Rodney Dunlop (753 6098).

Association of Anglican Women (AAW)

The AAW is a nation-wide Christian women's fellowship organisation covering areas of Overseas and Outreach (local and overseas), Social Concerns and Prayer.

The AAW group meets at midday on the second Tuesday of each month in the Parish Hall. We commence with a shared lunch, then a short service and general meeting, followed by a speaker or entertainment. We also have the pleasure of visiting other church groups around North Taranaki for annual women's days (inter-denominational).

We enjoy welcoming others to our meetings for the fun and fellowship amongst our members.
Contact Elaine James, Leader (769 9904) or Norma Benton, Secretary (758 6783).

Knit and Knatter

This group meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month in the lounge at the back of the Church hall. Up to thirteen ladies participate in knitting or crocheting blankets and various items of clothing for needy people in both New Zealand and overseas in counties such as Romania and Moldova.

Our latest outreach has been supplying the Men's Shelter in Beach Street with warm blankets for up to ten temporary residents. Most of our ladies are retired but we welcome any newcomers, even those who are rather better at knattering than knitting. Wool and needles are supplied where necessary.
